In this real life dare, one of Domino’s employees faces his fear of heights to get a customer to face one of hers: Ordering something besides pizza from a pizza place. We’re more than just great pizza, and we’ll do what it takes to prove it.
How did Domino’s convince people to try its new, better-tasting pizza in record numbers? By admitting its old pizza sucked.
The honesty of the “Pizza Turnaround" campaign convinced many customers to try the new recipe, but a few folks still weren’t convinced. To show these hold-outs just how proud we were of this new pizza, Domino’s created personalized ad campaigns for them.
Domino’s new pizza doesn’t need fancy food photography to look delicious. So we asked customers to snap a pic and show us their pizza‚ just as it was delivered.
Unlike many national food chains, Domino’s is proud of where their ingredients come from. And to prove it, they created BehindThePizza.com, a site that took customers right to the source of 10 Domino’s ingredients.
To add excitement to online ordering, we served up two web apps. Visual Builder lets you see your pizza as you build it. And Pizza Tracker shows the status of your order in real time.

Domino’s bakers and drivers are made accountable on Tracker. We upped the ante by making that info public in Times Square, NYC.
Domino’s Pizza Hero for iPad. Make top quality pizzas by kneading dough, spreading sauce, sprinkling cheese and placing toppings as you race against the clock.
Domino’s brought in Chef Tate Dillow to make better chicken. We asked people to rate his performance on Facebook and Twitter. No pressure, Tate.
Great ideas can come from anywhere. That’s why Domino’s created Think Oven, a new platform that asks customers for their help on projects like new uniforms and more.
