Remember the Volkswagen Rabbit? Most people do. Even those who weren't around when it cruised the city streets of North America in the 70's.

In the mid 80's, Volkswagen renamed the Rabbit the Golf, and it went on to mediocre success. After all, city people loved their Rabbits. Fast forward to 2006. Volkswagen is about to launch the Golf facelift. Nobody cared. Why re-launch a car nobody cared about? A minor change was suggested. Bring back the original name. Rescue the Rabbit.

Online consumers got to configure their Rabbit and literally multiply it by mating their car with another one - or even a real rabbit.
