DOMINO'S BFD BUILDER and PIZZA TRACKER
The Masters of Delivery change the game again with another innovation.
Our goal was to put delivery innovation back into the Domino’s playbook. With the BFD Builder, consumers could visually build their perfect pizza to their liking making even non-cooks feel like pizza makers; then send it to Dominos and 30 minutes later the exact pizza was at their doorstop. Visitors could also register their pizza for others to order. The person who registered the pizza with the most orders got $500 bucks.
Once someone placed a pizza order the site launched the Pizza Tracker - giving customers the ability to track the status of their order, step by step in real time all the way down to who at Dominos was putting their pizza in the oven or who was delivering your pizza. At long last, an end to the torturous emotional rollercoaster of wonderings of where your food is at and when is it going to get to you.
The Domino’s Pizza Tracker and BFD Builder have been a massive success. Aside from countless blog discussions and media coverage like CNN these two innovations have lead to record online sales for Dominos. |
